Tax & stamp duty Requirements

• All the Indian companies are subjected to payment of tax and stamp duty for their business transactions undertaken during the course of any financial year. Documents on the income and tax generated from such operations need to be maintained electronically.
• Books and records should be maintained for 7 years from the end of the assessment year.

• Businesses should store all business data including customer consent proofs centrally in electronic format so that it can be easily retrieved when required for audits
• Appointing A Data Protection Officer who will be answerable to the Data Protection Authority of India (DPAI) in case of data security breaches
